I enjoy; autumn, winter, tea, coffee, diet coke, the sound of crunching leaves, a cool breeze, the ocean, hiking, big cities, art, technology, reading, harry potter, indie music/ clothing, hipster stuff, fashion, the smell of lavender, a hug when I'm sad, my dog, air conditioning, warm blankets, traveling, and looking forward to the future.
These are the things that make me up as a person.

Antiviral DIR. Brandon Cronenberg Rating: 9/10 IMDB “It’s a weird business Syd”  Review:  This is a beautiful and wonderfully shot film. It’s gorgeous in it’s cinematography and it’s composition of shots and use of lighting. It all draws you in.  Then there’s the content of the film. The movie is set in a not too futuristic city where to feel closer to celebrities, people go to a clinic and have diseases that have run through celebrities bodies, injected into them. Stay with me. This is all the feel closer to the celebrities who are famous not for feature length films but for their beauty and ease of lifestyle, nudes are leaked in seconds, thermo cameras are used to get shots of the woman actresses underparts, as well as the gossip mill being worse than that of the high school portrayed in “Mean Girls”. All of this is not without a point however. The way the film portrays it, is as something next to buying a gossip rag at your local supermarket.  Syd March is basically a drug runner for these diseases. He injects the diseases into his body to sneak them out of the clinic, and then puts them in a machine that allows them to be sold on the black market, by replicating them. Things get complicated when he takes a disease that has been through Hannah Geist (the most popular celebrity at the moment), and he gets the news that Hannah is dying.  I won’t spoil the film but be aware that this is an intense body horror flick. If you don’t like needles, cannibalism, or are a germaphobe, do not watch this , but if you want to be afraid of those things do watch it. 

Scream DIR. Wes Craven  Rating: 9/10 IMDB Review:  Scream is a lovely horror film and is one of my favorite of the classics. It’s a great meta/self aware film that mimics as many great horror films while its a great one its self. I love it to death and the acting and script are by far the best part of this film.  A definite hit on Halloween please make an effort to see this horror classic if you’re a fan of the genre!

Once his arms are outstretched, his victims are put into something of a hypnotized state, where they are utterly helpless to stop themselves from walking into them. He is also able to create tendrils from his fingers and back that he uses to walk on in a similar fashion to Doc Ock, the Spider-Man villain in the Marvel Universe. The superhuman stretching ability could also be seen as a similiarty between himself and Mr. Fantastic of the Fantastic Four. Whether he absorbs, kills, or mearly takes his victims to an undiclosed location or dimension is also unknown as there are never any bodies or evidence left behind in his wake to deduce a definite conclusion.Not much is known, as no specific information has been found about origins, but his objective and habitat are made very clear. He has the need to kidnap children, and is seen right before the disappearance of a child or multiple children. He seems to prefer fog enshrouded streets and wooded areas as a way to conceal himself from being noticed. It should also be noted that children have been able to see him when no other adults in the vicinity could. Children also have dreams or nightmares concerning The Slender Man before their disappearance.” In other words…nobody fucks with Slender man. Slender man….not a joke you guys…He scars me more than almost anything else in the world….well..at least at night lol
